Host an event with JELLY JELLY!

Do you like attending events? How about hosting them?

Our 150+ member Meetup group has been hosting bi-weekly English events for a couple of months now. While we would love to keep hosting these events, things are getting a little bit busy for us to keep going as often as we have.

This is where YOU come in!

We're looking for eager, enthusiastic hosts to schedule and run any kind of board game event they'd want.

Whether it's a language exchange, a design workshop, a long session of werewolf, a test play of a game you're designing, or a chance to teach your favorite game to others - why not do it at JELLY JELLY CAFE?

The progress is as follows:

1. Introduce yourself to us! We'll schedule a quick video call to meet and get to know you better.

2. Schedule an event at our cafe.

3. On the day of the event, show up 10ish minutes early to get everything ready and host the event!

...That's pretty much it! As long as you check with us, you can host events as often or as rarely as you'd like. We'll schedule and figure it out together!

What do you get out of hosting?

Great question!

For each event you host with us, you'll get:

  • a single free entry to the cafe (one drink included) for any time that suits you.

 

Once you host 5 events, you can:

  • choose a small box JELLY JELLY GAMES published game to get for free!*

 

After 10 events hosted, you can:

  • get a big box JELLY JELLY GAMES published game for free!*

 

*Your events must have had at least 4 attendees to be elligible.

Rules

As the host, you don't pay to enter the cafe. You also get one free drink.

The event must be hosted on our Meetup page.

Events can only be hosted Monday-Friday.

As an exception, if you have at least 20 attendees you can reserve the cafe in advance. Contact us for more information.

You are required to stay for the duration of the event.

Please do not cancel the event any later than the day before.
